Glossy photos

capturing a ginger-haired porcelain silhouette

twined around his body

lie accusingly on the living-room table

beside the aquarium

And the tiny timid silverfish

swims impatiently in circles

In front of a plasma TV screen

focused on 52 merciless blood-covered spikes

of the Pacific white killer

that tears the slippery body of an exhausted seal

and the pieces of hot flesh

disappear in the salty  waves

when her trembling plain-chocolate-coloured hands

holding the camera

melt in the far far-away serious goodbye

Leaving his empty face

and scared-to-death silver aquarium fish behind
